This comeback to art seems to reoccur around the same time every year. I managed to keep up with classes so I'd like to start keeping up with drawing outside of class again. Gaia has successfully sucked me back in as an excellent motivation to keep up my own drawing. Of course I return to classes next Monday so we'll see how well I can keep up. But I'm determined not to let the craziness of my classes and work take away the fun of my down time like it as been up until now.

I finally broke down and bought a digital camera since so many projects required it, but it also means I can actually photograph some of my real media stuff and post it. So once I get time and patience to photograph, as well as work I actually think is worth posting, I'll submit it at some point. Since I only post when I'm insanely busy, this is hell week for me: 3 paintings (2 oil, 1 acrylic) 1 digital painting 2 typography projects 1 illustrator project 1 drawing on tracing paper with references (to be a finished painting by next week -_- ) 2 midterms (bio and math) aaand finish my costume (that requires plastering, spray painting

Back to school on Monday, and I convinced myself to take on 4 commission to finish by then. I've been wanting to draw for a while and haven't had the time or energy with work. So this is my last hurrah before the craziness of this coming semester. I dropped the sci-fi fantasy class though I really do want to take it. But better to do well in class than make myself crazy trying to keep up with so many classes. It'll be hard enough getting up early so often. I should do fine if I can keep to a decent scedule, but I have a feeling I'll be tired most of the time anyway.
